Happy Christmas Eve!
Back from Japan a few days ago, a really splendid place to visit, provided you're not with some tour group that is. ha ha.
prices sky-high, (as expected), but i managed to squeeze out a few purchases back home.
plus my sis', we're sharing (yay)
oh not to forget, the food there was AWESOME.
everyday we were just roaming from places to places, EATING. any places we arrived at, there would be food, and more food.
well, japan's takopatchi (only the squid shavings please! haa.), green tea/custard ice-cream, chocolate banana (banana, and i mean WHOLE banana soaked in rich chocolate), red bean biscuits, udon steamboat, sharksfin ramen (yes, expensive, bought one to try and was heavenly), raw fish, teppanyaki kobe beef, hot spring eggs (supposedly able to increase your lifespan by about 7 years per egg. ha ha.), and many more.
can i just say that my trip was fooooddd-full? (fruitful) ha ha.

raw fish was aplenty, but!
i couldnt try any due to my weaaak stomach. oh woe is me.
the sake was good. wanted to try more but my sister took it away. aw.
Japan photos! The scenery was beautiful, especially the one at Mt Fuji.
Food aside, amusement!
Disneyland was horrible. The long queues were irritating. fast passes didn't help, much.
Queued for about 40 mins for a ride that felt like the pasar malam rollercoaster. -.-
but the pizza there was good, cept' that there were queues again. Even the toilet queues were loonnng. But i bought those two mickey mouse pins. CUTE.
Universal studio was much better. At least we got to sit rides, proper rides for once. Bought a cuddly elmo there!
And the thing about Japan is, you can go out looking all over dressed, splattered with heavy makeup, and people don't really care. Japan has way much more cosmetic range than ours. bought a bunch back.
They even has this thing that will help turn single eyelid into double eyelid by just cosmetical manipulation. lots of them. sweeeet.
by the way, the toilets in Japan are way cooler that ours. HA!
they have seat warmers and sprays! how neat is that!
and the weather was freezing cold, we practically had to wear a winter jacket wherever we went. so all our pictures probably looked like it was taken on the same day. -.-
it's 1 day to christmas, and i haven't done my shopping.
noooooooooooooo.
well at least, i hope i get surprises under the tree this year.
party on the 25th, wooooooo.
with the chocolate founnnntainnn. yum.
